Artificial Intelligence in Logistics and Services

Which problem do we solve?

The shopping experience is increasingly taking place in a digital fashion – does local retail still have a future? We say yes, definitely! The future of local retail lies within the connection of the analogous to the digital world. The customer experience and service features of these worlds diverge significantly and too few mid-sized businesses seem to realize the chances that this connection holds for them.

Customers increasingly become more challenging for businesses, they are impatient in terms of product availabilities. What they want is individual consultancy and services – anytime and for free, if possible. Additionally topics like sustainability, supply chains and climate protection are increasingly on customer’s minds. Their desire for privacy is correlating with their willingness to share data, as long as it holds an additional benefit for them. Availability and especially the intelligent utilization of data – that is the main challenge.

Our vision

The scope of our platform lies within intelligent retail. It unifies stationary and local retail, serves the strategic marketing and offers digital solutions for an individual customer service.

We aim to realize a transfer of technology into mid-sized businesses, on a federal as well as international basis. Bremen based scientists have worked out outstanding approaches in artificial intelligence. Within the scope of retail and service robotics, these approaches will enable a newly-created large-scale platform with enormous change potential – Knowledge4RETAIL.

Knowledge4RETAIL aims to establish a new generation of information systems for retail and its supply chains as a digital innovation platform and ecosystem.
